“Mon Cano (Madrid, 1996) and Iñigo Barrón (Madrid, 1995) are multidisciplinary designers and artists. Individually or collectively, their work focuses on producing devices that translate territorial conflicts into sensorial experiences linked to enjoyment. Their work ironizes with materiality while exploring new relationships between ideology, design and landscape.
This August they have had a residency at Tenerife Espacio de Artes (TEA) as part of the exhibition Colapso. They recently presented Spa Profundo at the Festival Domingo at La Casa Encendida. Previously they presented the installation Azul Subsuelo at CC Las Cigarreras, they have presented Cuerpo Gris at the festival Gau Zuria 2022, residents of the programme Resistències Consorci de Museus Comunitat Valenciana and part of the exhibition 35 años de la Muestra de Artes Visuales Injuve at Tabacalera Madrid, among others. Both are co-founders of the collectives La Cuarta Piel and Martillo Neumático. “
