Ben Cook

Benjamin Cook is founder and CEO of LUX, a UK agency for the support and promotion of moving image artists. LUX supports distribution, exhibition, commissioning, professional development, education, research and publishing, with the largest collection of artist films and videos in the UK. He is also founding director of LUX Scotland. He managed the organisation of the Lux Centre for Film, Video and Digital Arts through the Arts Council England Recovery Scheme. He has also had other relevant roles in festivals and institutions such as London Pan-Asian Film Festival, London Electronic Arts, Institute of Contemporary Arts (London), Anthology Film Archives (New York), Tromsø Kunstforening, Berwick Film and Media Art Festival, London Film Festival, Rotterdam International Film Festival, Rotterdam Art Fair, Baltic Triennial (Mindaugas Triennial), London Short Film Festival or AV Festival (Newcastle). He is co-founder of Art: Moving Image Research Masters Programme at Central Saint Martins (London), PhD supervisor at Birbeck University, Northumbria University, University of Reading and MA at Goldsmiths and Kingston University (London).

Lars Henrik Gass

Lars Henrik Gass is the director of the Short Film Festival Oberhausen. He publishes essays and articles about cinema and cultural politics. He edited the book "Hellmuth Costard: Das Wirkliche war zum Modell geworden" (2021), and co-edited "Provokation der Wirklichkeit. Das Oberhausener Manifest und die Folgen" (2012) and "After Youtube. Gespräche, Portraits, Texte zum Musikvideo nach dem Internet" (2018). As an author, he published the books titled "Das ortlose Kino. Über Marguerite Duras" (2001), "Film und Kunst nach dem Kino" (2012/2017, English edition 2019) and "Filmgeschichte als Kinogeschichte. Eine kleine Theorie des Kinos" (2019).

Margot Mecca

Margot Mecca is an Italian programmer, producer and researcher based in Barcelona. Since 2011 she has been working at the Festival dei Popoli - International Documentary Film Festival. She is currently part of the selection committee (with a particular focus on Spanish and Portuguese films) and manager of Doc at Work Future Campus, a professional and training initiative for young filmmakers. In 2021 she was invited to join the selection committee of Majordocs. As an executive producer, she was an alumnus of Eurodoc and TFL. She works as a producer and consultant for documentary and fiction films for different production companies, especially in Italy. Her first film as producer, Mother Lode, by Matteo Tortone, premiered at SIC, during the Venice Film Festival. Since 2019 she is a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Communication of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona.
