Irati Gorostidi


​​Irati Gorostidi Agirretxe is a filmmaker. She has a degree in Fine Arts from the University of the Basque Country and a Master’s degree in Contemporary Film and Audiovisual Studies from the Pompeu Fabra University. In 2018 she received a Fulbright scholarship to study cinema at the New York Film Academy. She is the co-founder and programmer of the independent cultural space AZPI Kultur Elkartea.
Her films have been part of numerous festivals, including Punto de Vista, Festival de Cine Español de Málaga, Mostra Internacional de Films de Dones de Barcelona, Festival de Cine Europeo de Sevilla and, New York’s Anthology Film Archives.

Pasaia Bitartean

Pasaia Bitartean is a filmic approach to the urban fabric of Pasaia, a municipality in which the main commercial port of Guipúzcoa is located. Its industrial and urban fabric grew and was structured around the activity of the port that, from the crisis of the 70s and up to the present, has been declining.
