The starting point of Pasaia Bitartean is the architectural project that Jonander Agirre Mikelez carried out in 2013 under the same title. As a result of the search for other methodologies to think about the city and its common spaces, the idea arose of articulating this project in a cinematographic code. The film seeks to appreciate the present of Pasaia and, in turn, thinks of the city as a continent of memory. Work as a productive activity is opposed to work as a museum activity; tourists traversing a declining industry as part of a cruise ship journey; or hardcore bands that collect the sound witness of that same industry make up some of the elements through which this film captures the urban and industrial landscape of Pasaia.
