How to get to INTERSECCIÓN’s headquarters

For this edition we are located in Fundación Luis Seoane, the Planetarium of Casa de las Ciencias and Teatro Colón.

As a festival we have been making an effort to minimize our carbon footprint, that’s why, to get there, besides walking, we recommend some other low carbon means of transportation.

St/ San Francisco 27, A Coruña

It is currently the only city building that functions as a contemporary art museum.
Exhibitions and cultural activities of great diversity take place here.
The 1200 m2 of the building are distributed in 2 exhibition rooms, a porticoed patio and an auditorium on the ground floor; permanent exhibition room and 2 other showrooms on the first floor; and library on a second level.
The auditorium is equipped for the projection of different audiovisual formats and has benches for the public.

Colón Theatre

One of the theaters of historical importance in A Coruña.
Designed by the architect Jacobo Rodríguez- Losada Trulock, it opened its doors in 1948.
In 2002, the remodeling works began to give it its current appearance and resources.
Since its inception, it has offered stage, musical and theatrical shows, as well as film screenings, for which it currently has a 14x8m screen.
The theater room has a capacity of 845 people.

Planetarium – House of The Science

Parque de Santa Margarita, A Coruña

The House of The Science is the oldest of the scientific museums in A Coruña.
Created in 1983, it was inaugurated in 1985, becoming the first publicly owned interactive center and the second active planetarium in Spain.
The planetarium is located in the hemispherical dome of the building, and has an analog and digital projector. It has a capacity for 80 people.

How to get to A Coruña

We cannot fail to remind our public that the means of transport they choose when traveling to Coruña has a big impact on pollution. We recommend you to choose traveling by train over other transportation means because it is the least carbon emitting one: 14g CO2 per km, while buses emit 68g and planes, 285g.
