Adam Pugh


Adam Pugh is a curator, writer and designer based in Newcastle upon Tyne, where he also works as Regional Director, North East Contemporary Visual Arts Network. Having founded and directed the artists’ moving image festival Aurora (2005 – 09), he worked as an independent curator before running the Artists’ Moving Image Network for the Independent Cinema Office (London). Most recently he ran the artists’ moving image programme Projections at Tyneside Cinema (Newcastle upon Tyne). As a writer, he contributes regularly to Art Monthly; and has taught, delivered talks and served on international juries for institutions and events worldwide.
