INTERSECCIÓN presents, in collaboration with the publishing house Estraperlo, the book Extraction: The Raft of the Medusa, by the artist and director Salomé Lamas, and the book Miradas Cruzadas. Una mirada al audiovisual gallego contemporáneo by the editor, curator and researcher Sara Donoso.

The editor, curator and cultural researcher Sara Donoso, will present her book Miradas cruzadas. Una mirada al audiovisual gallego contemporáneo at Intersection, published by Estraperlo, which explores the intense relationship between art and the audiovisual world within the framework of the New Galician Cinema, and also counts with the participation of authors such as Carla Andrade, Oliver Laxe, Lois Patiño or Alberte Pagán among others, offering a collection of conversations, comments and comparisons that open the door to a truly rich and complex world. Several of the artists interviewed in the book will be at the presentation, along with Sara Donoso, the author, and Enrique Lista, the editor.
Extraction: The Raft of the Medusa
Intersección publishes, in collaboration with the publishing house Estraperlo, the book Extraction: The Raft of the Medusa, as part of a project that covers different artistic fields, and in which the multi-awarded artist Salomé Lamas makes an intense social, ethical-political and environmental reflection around human migration, colonial and post-colonial power and climate change. All this is interwoven in a text that nourishes on countless references to aesthetic and philosophical thoughts, converging in a deep, sensitive and committed work. The author, Salomé Lamas, and Enrique Lista, the editor, will participate in the presentation.
